Laser Cladding

Precitec offers laser optics for deposit welding with pulverised additional materials. Two different nozzle types are available - (1) A coaxial nozzle with a ring-shaped powder feed, very fine powder focus and high powder effectivity rate for creating small, precise structures. This nozzle can also be used for larger areas simply by de-focusing it; (2) A coaxial 4-beam nozzle which is extremely robust and very process-stable when work has to be carried out in extreme and unavoidable positions. This nozzle is ideal for repair welding work involving larger 3D shapes.

Both cladding nozzles can be combined with CO₂ lasers and with our proven optical components for solid-state lasers (rod, disc and fibre optical lasers). In combination with our EG 8210 process controller, the integrated sensors of the optical components enable optional control of the deposit welding process, using key factors like the temperature of the weld pool.
