Precitec offers laser beam welding optical components for various laser types and performance classes. The SP50R welding head is designated for CO2 lasers and designed for laser performance up to 8 kW. It has a free aperture of 50mm and can be upgraded to an LWM coaxial process monitoring system when used in combination with a scraper sensor. The head is also available with an LPF integrated seam tracking system.
Welding heads for solid-state (rod, disc and fibre optical lasers) and fibre optical-coupled diode lasers are available for
all laser performance classes on the market which are designed for working with materials. The YW20 is made for precision
welding with laser performances of up to 500W - and the YW50 high-performance welding head has been designed for laser performances
of up to 20 kW. Focal lengths from 150 mm. to 680 mm. are available. Special features of the YW50 welding head are its integrated
protective window monitoring system (independent of laser performance class), temperature sensors for monitoring the condition
of the welding head, plus integrated sensors for the LWM online welding process monitoring system - and the YW50 can be combined
with the LPF seam tracking system and the SGM seam geometry monitoring system.
