Precitec offers a series of systems for laser beam welding - for reasons of space, only four of these are described below:

YW50 Pre-In-Post-System

The high-performance welding head for the YW50 solid-state and diode laser, when combined with the LPF seam tracking system, the LWM integrated in-process monitoring system and the SGM seam geometry monitoring system is a truly comprehensive quality monitoring system.

SP50R Pre-In-System

The SP50R CO₂ welding head is available in a version with integrated LPF seam tracking system and scraper sensor for coaxial process monitoring.

YW50 Pressure Wheel

The YW50 welding head can be combined with a pneumatic pressure wheel. Pressure can be varied steplessly between 50 N and 300 N. The YW50 can also be combined with other process monitoring components.

Welding system for tailored blanks

Tailored Blanks manufacture involves the welding of metal sheets of different material strengths. The sheets are later subjected to a forming/pressing process. Only laser beam welding can ensure that the welds are durable and fissure-free. For this type of application, Precitec offers special systems - our LPF integrated seam guidance system and welding process monitoring systems like the LWM and the SGM achieve an extremely high standard of automation and quality.
